Management of Concussion – Football and Netball

➢ GAFNC encourages and endorses every parent, guardian, first aiders or sports trainer to download the Head Check app. Home | HeadCheck Concussion App

➢ GAFNC advises that at all junior sporting games a parent/guardian must be present at the game in case of an incident was to occur and further medical attention is required.

➢ GAFNC encourages all members of the club to be registered with Ambulance Victoria for insurance purpose.

➢ GAFNC follows AFLB Protocol

Concussion Officer: EMMA JARMAN

Emma is the behind-the-scenes face of GSMC, the big thinker and partner to GSMC founder Nick. She brings a background in sports management and marketing, having worked in the sporting and events industry throughout her career and held national roles with organisations including the Australia Football League and Fosters.

She is also a proud Ammos parent & has kindly volunteer her experience & wealth of knowledge to become our Concussion officer for 2024. If you have any concerns or needs some help when a concussion takes place, feel free to call Emma PH: 0438 835 456
